The Release of QuickEconomy

·227 words·2 mins

About a week ago my first major Minecraft plugin got its first full release and was shortly after that installed on the ThorodinCraft server. It felt very good to “complete” such a big project and be able to put it to use. Since the release I have felt that there is something missing, almost the same feeling as when you finish watching a TV-series. There has of course been some bugs that needed fixing and some additional features that have been added. But it hasn’t felt the same way as when I was working on the plugin before the release. This might be a widespread phenomenon that I have not felt before. Any how, it feels really good to finally have QE out in the open and used by real players. The plugin is available for download on Modrinth and the source code can be found on GitHub.

What’s next for me?

After the release I started working on a new plugin, QuickName. This is a smaller project and is already quite finished. Finishing this will probably be highest on my priority list. And of course fixing some Issues on QE.
